- For my characters, I made sure that they wore outfits which was suitable for their role.
- I wanted the main detective male protagonist to wear a long black jacket to represent what detectives wear and always looking smart at the beginning, and then towards the end become more and more relaxed with what he was wearing to show that he does not care about what a detective is wearing but managing to catch the killer. I did this to show a different time of day and the location.
- For my serial killer, I wanted him to look scary, so I made the actor wear a mask to hide his identity.
- For my minor characters, such as the chief at the police station, they just wore what they were wearing at the time in my trailer as it was likely that they would only feature once anyways. The main detectives assistant wore a shirt and tie while looking not smart and clothes looking creased.
